Gold refinery, diamond cutting unit and distribution network: how UMA S.A markets precious metals.

UMA S.A will produce gold with a purity of 99.95 to 99.99% as investment bars, through the country's very first refinery, under construction in the East region, in the municipality of Bertoua 1st. It will be complemented by a “Made in Cameroon” jewellery cutting, polishing and setting unit. These cut gems will meet international jewellery standards and be certified by HRD and GIA (Gemological Institute of America), placing Cameroon and UMA S.A among the few players worldwide able to master the whole chain, from A to Z.

UMA S.A aims to give miners a practical option through the development of “S.D.L.G” facilities, so they can sell their gold and diamonds at a fair market value, using in-house, patented and trademarked software that complies with the OECD, the Kimberley Process and the ICGLR.

UMA S.A's flagship offerings are the FLAMELESS TUNNEL continuous gold and silver bar production process (LBMA-approved), the production of investment bars and minted coins, and Good Delivery bars to clients' patented specifications.

UMA S.A will strengthen its relations and commercial cooperation with leading organisations in precious metal investment: the London Bullion Market Association (LBMA), which brings together the most prominent players in the gold and silver markets, the World Gold Council (WGC), HRD, GIA, as well as bankers, miners and other major financial and policy experts in the field.
